This mod adds multiple workbenches on a stick:
 - Crafting Table
 - Anvil
 - Loom
 - Grindstone
 - Cartography Table
 - Stonecutter
 - Smithing Table

 

You can use these items to access the workbenches without placing it on the ground.

Added curios integration.
You can now put the workstation on a stick in the curios slot, and access with with a keybind (default V)


To craft these items just use a stick and the workbench like these examples:
