What is this mod?

This mod automatically downloads and loads other mods before the game itself starts in case a core mod or something does not get downloaded correctly. The current version of the mod was veryfied to work with minecraft 1.7.10 up to minecraft 1.12.2. It should in theory also work in versions older than 1.7.10 but no guarantee that it will work. However the mod will not work with any version newer than 1.12.2 as several things in forge changed. At some point this mod will be ported to newer versions using the Fabric mod loader. A version for 1.13+ forge might come later.

How does it work?

This mod does not automatically create it's config files so you have to do it yourself. To get started you go into the config folder and create a folder named "mod-director". In that folder you need to create a .curse.json or a.url.json file for every mod you want to download. If the mod you want to download is hosted on curse, use a .curse.json file, if it's hosted somewhere else on the web use .url.json. Please note that the files need to end with .url.json or .curse.json for the mod to read them.
