Texture pack BetterSnow by Skaliber

This pack servers as a solution to the widespread problem of universal snow overlays within Minecraft.

By using a combination of niche techniques, I've been able to create a functional, performance friendly, good-looking solution to the problem of universal snow overlays. The pack uses a separate model for each segment of snow layers, and adds an additional cube underneath, which culls correctly, and has an additional inverted cube inside, for logical viewing from all angles. The pack works, thanks to OptiFine's "block.properties" which allows for making certain textures in the game "cutout" textures, meaning that they can have transparent pixels.

This concept is somewhat flawed however, so you may run into visual issues whilst using this pack. If you do run into any significant issues, please do let me know, and I'll update the pack to accommodate where possible.
