In vanilla Minecraft, glass takes a frustratingly long time to break, and it isn't possible to instant mine it even if you use an Efficiency V netherite pickaxe with a Haste II beacon.
FastGlass Instamine is a very simple datapack that adds every glass variant (glass+panes, all stained glass+panes, tinted glass) to the mineable/pickaxe.json tag file which assigns the pickaxe as the proper tool to break glass. This results in glass being faster (but not instant) to mine when using an unenchanted pickaxe, and becoming fully instant mineable using any pickaxe with the Efficiency V enchantment-- just like netherrack!
This datapack only runs once, when the world is loaded/reloaded, and doesn't have any kind of per-tick code, so it won't create any additional overhead or lag.
