Pocket Classic is a resource pack that aims to almost completely overhaul Minecraft’s UI style, giving it an appearance closer to the style found in very early versions of Minecraft: Pocket Edition.

This gives the UI a darker appearance, an overall sharper look, and a bit of extra detail.

With this, the pack also has some bonus features available by going through the files in the pack:

- Dirt menu background

Puts a dirt layer over the main menu, replicating the appearance of the main menu in early versions of Minecraft.
Note: Due to differences in screen resolutions, this may not be 100% accurate for certain monitors.

(ONLY AVAILABLE IN 1.18 VERSION)
Comparison

To enable this, rename the folder called “background_classic” in assets\minecraft\textures\gui\title to “background”.

- Pocket Edition tagline

Pocket Classic by default replaces the “Java Edition” tagline to a version that makes it appear as the “Pocket Edition” tagline did in early versions of Minecraft: Pocket Edition. However, if you’d prefer it to say “Pocket Edition”, there is an alternate version that reverts the edited “Java Edition” version to its unedited “Pocket Edtion” version.

(ONLY AVAILABLE IN 1.18 VERSION)
Comparison

To enable this, delete, rename or move the file called “edition.png” in assets\minecraft\textures\gui\title, then rename the file called “edition - pocket.png” to “edition.png”.

- Tiny crosshair

This provides an alternate, much smaller appearance for the crosshair.

Comparison

To enable this, rename the file called “icons_smallcrosshair.png” in assets\minecraft\textures\gui to “icons.png”.
