This is the data pack that adds an item "backpack", the item base is "leather_chestplate", so you can wear it if you want!!!

Dependencies
You need to download Optifine to show the texture of the backpacks and install (copy it into the data pack folder) another data pack Custom Craft to let you make and upgrade the backpack.
Installation
If you want to install this data pack with Curse forge app, just install the merged pack (resource pack + data pack, named upgradable_backpack-merged-v*.zip) then copy it in the resource pack folder to the data pack folder, and it works. If you are lazy, you can install the mod Global Packs. This mod sees the resource pack folder as the data pack folder so that you don't need to copy it by yourself.
If you install this data pack manually, just download the merged pack into the data pack and resource pack folder.
If you are playing server, copy the merged pack to the data pack folder of the world folder.
